Just discovered this blog called Experience France by Bike which is giving is some nice inspiration for our summer holidays!

Cycling with Rutte

For weeks now, coalition partners of our (dutch) government have been negotiating about new plans and (financial) cuts. I am quite sceptical about this existing government and its destructive policy. However, there is one positive thing to tell. Our prime Minister Mark Rutte has been going to these negotiating talks by bike almost every day. This has captured quite some attention and I guess is helpful to promote the bicycle as an alternative to other, more poluting means of transport. At least on this point a good example has been set.
